These are pictures of "Hell's Gates", an interesting rock formation where the ocean is particularly turbulent.
We sat there quite a while and spotted:
numerous turtles
(I was even able to get a photo of one turtle in Hell's Gate - have a close look at one of the photos, lower left hand corner, it is a little difficult to spot though)
we also spotted 6 dolphins, one of them was an albino
a Sting Ray
On the way back we met some French speaking brothers on holiday in Australia. They were from New Caledonia.
